SDP-vendored. HSA/FSA-eligible. Wellness, made accessible.
Wellness shouldn't be locked behind out-of-pocket spend. i-thriv works with two payment paths designed to make in-home care more accessible.
Self-Determination Program
i-thriv is a vendored provider for California's Self-Determination Program (SDP), delivering in-home therapeutic massage and assisted stretching to support relaxation, sensory regulation, muscle comfort, and overall well-being for SDP participants and their families.
We coordinate directly with Financial Management Services (FMS) providers when wellness is included in an individual's spending plan — so families can use approved funds without out-of-pocket hassle.
Booking & Client Access (SDP)
SDP participants may choose between a recurring appointment schedule or booking services as needed, subject to provider availability and approved funding.
Scheduling options may include:
- Weekly appointments
- Bi-weekly appointments
- Monthly appointments
- As-needed appointments
While participants may book services as needed, i-thriv encourages maintaining a consistent schedule whenever possible. Regularly scheduled services help promote continuity of care, support wellness goals, and improve appointment availability with your preferred provider.
SDP participants are scheduled through i-thriv using an internal booking process. Clients are added to the i-thriv platform and receive the same communications, support, and appointment experience as all other i-thriv clients, including:
- Appointment confirmations and reminders
- Appointment history and service records
- The ability to request appointment changes through the i-thriv app or client portal, subject to provider availability and approval
- Ongoing customer support
The primary difference is that approved SDP services are billed through monthly invoices submitted to your Financial Management Service (FMS) and/or Service Coordinator rather than payment at the time of booking.
Payment & Billing (SDP)
Invoices for completed services are issued during the last week of each month and submitted to your Financial Management Service (FMS) and/or Service Coordinator for review and approval.
To help avoid delays in provider scheduling and payment processing, invoices should be reviewed and approved during the first week of the following month.
Clients are responsible for maintaining an active and approved SDP budget for authorized services. If invoice approvals become significantly delayed, future appointments may be temporarily paused until outstanding invoices have been reviewed and approved.
Cancellation, Rescheduling & No-Show Policy
Appointment changes and rescheduling requests may be submitted through the i-thriv app or client portal. A minimum of 24 hours' notice is required for cancellation or rescheduling requests.
All appointment changes are subject to provider availability and approval and are not guaranteed.
Missed appointments, same-day cancellations, late cancellations, or appointments that cannot be completed due to client unavailability may be billed in accordance with SDP guidelines and available approved funding.
Provider Availability
If a provider becomes unavailable due to illness, emergency, weather conditions, vehicle issues, or other unforeseen circumstances, i-thriv will make reasonable efforts to provide a qualified replacement provider or reschedule the appointment at the next available date and time.
